The Beginning

A personal journey
that became a profession.

My introduction to chiropractic care started as many people's do - with back pain. I injured myself playing tennis and couldn't continue without pain. My tennis coach happened to also be a chiropractor - so I saw him, and almost miraculously was back on the court within a week. I then experienced the same pain months later playing golf. Back to the chiropractor. Adjustment. Instant relief. Back to golf.

I started to realise that the outward causes - the tennis, the golf - weren't the problems. It was my body that needed attention. So I kept getting adjusted regularly, at first just to prevent pain interrupting my sport, but eventually because having regular care made me less stressed and better able to handle my high school workload.

Fast forward five years

I was the unhealthiest I'd ever been.

Stressed, eating poorly, not exercising, leaning on alcohol for relief. I'd gained 30 kilos and was mentally flat. The irony wasn't lost on me. I was training to help people feel well while quietly becoming the unhealthiest and unhappiest I'd ever been.

Though there wasn't a single turning point, I made the decision to prioritise being healthier and happier. What happened from those years until now has been a process of steady improvement - of straying away from balance, noticing, then realigning. It's a practice that still takes place daily.

My entire life has been a search for my own wholeness. I now get to help other people find theirs.

Having practised on the Bellarine since 2015, I opened Grove Chiropractic in 2018 - a practice built for the kind of whole-person care that I needed myself all those years ago. If you've struggled with partial approaches and poor outcomes that didn't last - I'd genuinely love to meet you.

What We Stand For

The values that
guide every consultation.

01

Holistic

We focus on the whole person, not just the individual parts.

02

Naturalistic

The body has its own inbuilt natural healing capacity. Genuine health is entirely possible without drugs or surgery.

03

Humanistic

We care for you as a human, not treat you as a diagnosis.

04

Community

We are invested in Ocean Grove and the Bellarine Peninsula - supporting the community that has generously supported us.

05

Vitalistic

We see the body as a clever system to be nurtured, not a broken machine to be fixed.

06

Longevity

Spine and brain health is not a short-term project. We help clients build a relationship with their health that serves them across a lifetime - not just until the pain goes away.

The Practice

A space designed
for genuine care.

The studio at 2b, 83 The Parade, Ocean Grove was designed intentionally - a calm, unhurried environment that reflects the same values we bring to our chiropractic care itself.

Your First Visit

What to expect
when you come in.

A first visit at Grove Chiropractic is unhurried. We allow up to an hour - not because chiropractic takes that long, but because understanding your history properly is the most important thing we do.

We take a thorough history - not just your physical symptoms, but the context of your life, your stress, your sleep, and what you've already tried. We then assess your spine, your movement, and your nervous system. Where X-rays are clinically indicated, we arrange them fully bulk-billed - no out-of-pocket costs.

At the end of the visit, we discuss what we found and establish a care plan together - tailored to you, explained clearly, with honest expectations about what's possible and how long it's likely to take.

What the first visit covers

X-rays if clinically indicated

Fully bulk-billed. No out-of-pocket costs. Arranged where your history warrants it.

Your tailored care plan
